WET-Africa Workshops
WET Africa is proud to present and host the following workshops:
- Introduction to Waterway Management - the Ecopreneurs Course This hands-on workshop takes participants to various sites to demonstrate the different sites ranging from pristine to highly polluted and provides hands on experience with waterway restoration. After this workshop, the participants will be able to recognise signs of pollution and will be able to take steps to inform the appropriate authorities and participate in the rehabilitation and subsequent monitoring effort.
- Waterway Leadership Workshop In the 'Introduction to Waterway Management' workshop we always identify individuals with potential who have the qualities required to manage and lead teams in waterway rehabilitation projects and to use this as a base for a sustainable business. The Leadership workshop takes 2 weeks and then is followed by a 6 month internship at WET-Africa.
