Lyndhurst Riverdwellers Association
Lyndhurst Riverdwellers Association is an association of Lyndhurst residents who are concerned about the area's environment, health and safety. We are particularly concerned with issues impacting on residents' environment and quality of life. If you value the value of your property and the value of your health, safety and quality of life, you need to participate in this initiative to make your voice heard.
Lyndhurst issues include:
- on-going applications being made for re-zoning and the development of high-density housing on land that would traditionally accommodate a single family house
- the biological and ecological health of the Jukskei river and the water drainage systems (remember, all the water here flows to the Indian Ocean)
- fauna and flora of the area especially birdlife
- traffic and road systems
- developers wanting to dig up the nearby boer war graves infected with anthrax at the nearby Rietfontein Tropical Disease Hospital
- air quality
- policing and crime
We urge you to join the Lyndhurst Riverdwellers community and participate to make sure that we can speak with one voice about those isssues that impact our quality of life. To join, just go to http://isivivane.com/riverdwellers/?q=user/register
