Aerial Photo Shoot 29th March, 2009
Aerial Photo shoots combined with Google Maps are invaluable for our work as they offer a unique perspective of the larger system within wich the river flows. This photoshoot of the Jukskei River was conducted with the kind assistance of the Bateleurs www.Bateleurs.org and Zoom Event Photography www.zoomphoto.co.za/ on 29th March 2010.

The photo shoot starts at the source of the Jukskei River which is actually in Hillbrow, one of the most densely populated urban areas in Africa. From there, it flows to Bruma Lake, Gilooly's Farm, Linksfield, the Rand Aid Association Old Age Home, Lombardy East, Alexandra, Buccleuch, Kyalami, 4 Ways, Lanseria and then finally into the Hartebeespoort Dam. And from there, into the Indian Ocean via Maputo.
The photo collage is also available on Picassa
